This textured fancy wool yarn, on cones for machine knitting, is structured with a trapped continuous repeating loop of wool and acrylic blend, wrapped around a stable core of polymide. This knits into an irregular textured fuzzy fabric not unlike teddy bear fur.
Available in a range of seasonal colours, this yarn is not as soft as our fine boucle, but when brushed out creates a fleece-like fabric with a much longer pile.
A great yarn for outerwear winter woolens, hats, scarfs and cardigans that are richly textured but surprisingly light.
The pile is shorter and fuzzier than that of our Feather Yarn, and denser and more irregular that that of our Wool Fringe Yarn.
